Dogs and Cats, Colorado Style's premier issue made its debut in March of 2002. Since then, we have grown and evolved, changing our format, adding color, adding pages, adding features...all for the better, we hope. We started out knowing absolutely nothing about publishing, or how to run the programs needed, but with the help of patient people in the printing business, and after reading countless Photoshop books, we have taught ourselves just about everything we have needed to know. The three of us who originated the magazine, Joe, Scott, and Pam, are still bringing you every issue from start to finish...we are your account executives, your editors, your graphic designers, your writers, and distributors.

Now, we are also learning web design, again with patient help from a very computer-savvy family member (thanks, Brian!) The process will probably be the same as it was for the print magazine...gradual evolution from a starting point to something much better each time a new issue comes out, but built on the same principal: having great fun learning, and doing the entire job ourselves.

We've been around for 5 years, and expect to be here for many more years to come. It's been the most fun we've ever had with anything, and we've met and made friends with our readers and advertisers, as well as the representatives of all of the wonderful shelters in the Denver metro area, and we consider all of them to be the finest people God put on this earth. We are truly proud to be associated with all of you.

We hope you enjoy our website. Hang in there with us while we work on perfecting it...it's going to change daily for a while, and there will probably be links that don't work, etc. until we know more about what we are doing! Feel free to e-mail, call, or write and let us know what you think! We're always open to your suggestions.

Joe Cefalu, Scott Simpson, and Pam Dreeszen
